My dear ones, I love beautiful and cute illustrations so much that when I find another artist on the expanses of the internet, I just can’t help but share their work with you. The cozy world of the fairy artist Susan Wheeler from Texas made me gaze at the images for so long that I simply lost track of time and forgot about all my chores.

Imagine opening some big heavy book that you just have to put on your lap, settling into a chair or on a sofa, surrounded by pillows, and immersing yourself in a fairy world of dreams, a magical childhood space where everything is filled with joy and charm.

Talented Texas artist Susan Wheeler once invented the magical world of “Holly Pond Hill” in 1995 and brought it to life on sheets of watercolor paper. Her talent emerged when she became a mother and wanted to give her children a real fairy tale. And she illustrated this fairy tale herself. Susan has four children who inspired her to create magical illustrations.

Growing up in New England, Susan Wheeler spent a lot of time in nature, loved to fantasize about secret places where animals live. Cute cottages hidden in the roots of mossy trees are inhabited by families of tiny forest creatures. Perhaps they are somewhere very close, around the corner of your house or in the nearest thicket.

Susan’s watercolors charm with their incredible detail and attention to detail. She lovingly paints every button on a mouse’s dress, every flower in a flowerbed, every ruffle on a tablecloth. You can see how much pleasure the artist takes in creating all this beauty!

Holly Pond Hill is a place where a cup of tea, an interesting conversation, and the company of an old friend are all you need to make the day wonderful.

I hope that today’s illustrations and the story about the artist have brought you a good mood and made your day kind! Read related post – A surreal inspiration: magical paintings by Kevin Sloan.
