A countryside area allows for the realization of many creative plans that are difficult to accomplish in a city apartment. And it’s not a problem if the area isn’t large. You can create an impressive relaxation zone with your own hands or by ordering it in a small garden. Today, I would like to share the idea of a summerhouse right on your garden plot.
Choose the right location for summerhouse.
It’s important to understand that the summerhouse should be located in the right place. This will determine whether anything will disturb your seclusion and whether it will fit well in the landscape design.
Organize the setup of the zone in a beautiful spot and think ahead about the view you would like to see from the window. Consider when you want to see the sunlight – at sunrise or sunset.
Think about what can be nearby. This could be a flower bed, a pool, or an artificial pond. There should be no sheds, manure piles, or other household clutter nearby.
Also, make sure the house is surrounded by trees and bushes. Few people enjoy being under the scorching sun, even if there is a roof overhead. As a bonus, you can attach a hammock to the trees.
Note that for a hammock, in the absence of trees, you will need two sturdy posts, which must be cemented into the ground before building the summerhouse.
Hide your summerhouse from curious neighbors and street noise and dust. This means your relaxation zone in the garden should be away from the front entrance and road.
Also do not forget that your cabin should not be too far away from the main house. The farther away it is, the more time and effort it will take to get back and forth. Keep in mind that you will need to bring out snacks and drinks.
Set up the relaxation zone.
The layout and furnishing of the summer house primarily depend on its purpose. If the main goal of such a place is lunches and dinners, you will only need chairs, a table, and sofas.
If this place is intended for relaxation, then comfortable sofas will be necessary. For a relaxation zone like a living room, low wicker furniture with cushions and a coffee table will work well.
You can also make a workspace in such a house. In this case, you should take care of lighting and internet wiring.
Get to decorating the summerhouse.
Decorating the summerhouse is an important step that will help create an original and unique space.
You can use plants and flowers as decor. This is a budget-friendly and extremely beautiful option. You can place planters both inside and outside the house.
Lanterns, garlands, and candles will set a romantic tone for any gathering.
Use pillows of different shapes, blankets, and curtains. Beautiful and well-coordinated textiles will take your house to the next level.
The idea of a summerhouse on your garden is a special place where you will come to recharge. Think everything through in advance so that you can simply relax on your plot in the future.
