This world is so many-faceted. I sometimes marvel when I think about the vastness of the universe—it’s simply boundless. This is one of the reasons why I can’t say for sure what I love more—the sea, the mountains, the forest, or the valleys. It’s hard to stay loyal to one choice when beauty is literally at every step.
I’ve always said that I like quiet places, far from big cities, but today I want to share some photos taken in the capital of Russia. I find Moscow charming. Its atmosphere and metropolitan charm calm me and give me hope that even a tiny speck like me can make a ripple in the existence of the entire universe. I love knowing that by publishing my posts, including this one, I can play a role in changing people’s lives.
But I also like the thought that I can find constancy in silence, whether I’m in a remote village or a city park. In these photos, I wander among urban rose gardens and spend one of the beautiful summer evenings. I love how the roses smell, and the air is so fresh after the rain. Even though time is so fleeting and the world is many-faceted, there will always be roses, there will always be rain, and there will always be beautiful summer evenings. It was this way before me, and it will be this way after. I’m happy to be part of it, even if that part is short.
