I really love a quote by Frances Burnett that goes, “If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.” I completely agree with this statement and truly believe that if you look from the right angle, you can always find something green, blooming, or fragrant.

The whole world is a garden

In spring, Moscow undeniably feels like a city in full bloom, as the first delicate pink hues of apple and cherry blossoms begin to saturate the city as early as mid-April. Juicy daffodils, vibrant tulips, and delicate lilac shrubs and trees are among my favorite flowers in spring. Though, I’m inclined to say that every flower becomes my favorite when it comes to the changing seasons.

But the weather changes, the blooming plants outside my window change, and I feel in love with the world around me again. It’s as if the world becomes a different when every day is different from the previous one, even though my location is the same.

Beyond simply enjoying how one bloom gives way to another, I also take pleasure in knowing that I have the opportunity to wander through the vast number of gardens and parks in my city. I am genuinely happy every time I plan a visit to a new place, confident that blossoming apple trees, floral arches, and carpets of tulips will be waiting for me. I just like to realize that the whole world is a garden.

The whole world is a garden

Spring gardens are a magnificent celebration. They are a party of bright colors and delicate shades, celebrating the return of long days. They are cafés adorned with flowers, flower beds set up at every turn, and floral installations that you simply can’t pass by without taking a photo.

And I love it so much when I start to feel different, when I especially want to be covered in flowers from head to toe, have fresh flowers in the house, wear dresses in soft tones, and be a walking spring advertisement.
