“There’s just something beautiful about walking on snow that nobody else has walked on. It makes you believe you’re special.” —Carol Rifka Brunt, “Tell the Wolves I’m Home”
Our house is located on the edge of a wonderful estate. On most days, this place buzzes with dog owners and their families, but when the snow fell, everyone stayed away. We went for a walk in the winter park and barely saw a single living soul.
Only somewhere in the distance a grandmother and child were sledding down the mountain, but overall it was like a blanket of silence that wrapped the park together with the snow.
It was wonderful to feel that the snow had fallen as if just for the two of us. While everyone stayed home, warming themselves with a bowl of hot soup, we walked through the snowdrifts and explored new corners of our winter park.
It was the perfect place and time to wear this beautiful yellow dress. In a way, I felt like a fairytale princess strolling through the grounds of an enchanted palace, which is actually the former estate of the Agricultural Academy.
But the white snow, magical attire, and winter silence did their job, and I truly felt like a fairytale character.
Today, I wanted to share these moments and leave a few words about this day along with some photos here.
